Commercially lithium is used to make glass, ceramics, primary aluminum, lubricants, greases, synthetic rubber, and much more. Its used as an alloy for softer metals, and gives lots of strength to ceramics like Pyrex. Also Lithium can be made into batteries that are used in everything from cars to watches. Lithium has many compounds one of them Lithium carbonate is used as a mood stabilizer for bipolar patients.
